Rewers
The reverse of the coin features a coloured image of a mature Emu in left profile, standing on a grassy dune. In the background, turbulent waves add dynamism and impress with their majestic force. The waves are ready to erase the footprints of the emu left on the intensely pink sand. On the reverse side, the year of mintage, the purity of the metal, and the weight of the coin are indicated. The stunning reverse design was created by artist Ing Ing Jong, a longtime coin designer for The Perth Mint, who pays particular attention to detail and skillfully combines traditional motifs with a modern approach while preserving cultural heritage. Additionally, the design includes a security feature in the form of a graver's "P."

Awers
The obverse of the coin features a portrait of King Charles III. The design includes the inscription "CHARLES III," along with information about the issuing country and the coin's nominal value, along with the initials of the talented designer Dan Thorne. The likeness of King Charles III has been officially approved by His Majesty King Charles III.
